Google Target Ads based on Web Usage.
On Wednesday Google introduced technology that tries to tailor ads to your specific interests. This new technology tracks the websites you visit. So if you frequent sports websites or DoItYourself sites, it will start sending you more sports or DIY ads on their partner sites and YouTube.

To me, this is just another way "Big Brother" is watching. As a business person I can not be totally anonymous but do enjoy my privacy. Have you ever gone to Google Earth? You can view your friends (?) home. And this tool will be live in the near future. Your local grocery store issues coupons for future purchases based on past purchases - we are all being watched - all the time!

If you wish to, Google has an "as preference" tool to opt out of the program. Comments requested and will be published when requested.
